Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Id have to say at a young age I listened to a lot of old rock. But some of my early hip hop influences were Tupac, NWA, Snoop dogg, eminem, 50 cent, lil wayne, and tyga. As well as d12, G unit, Flo Rida, Young money. Dr. Dre... a lot of early west coast artists.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think I would actually feel like I am somebody. My whole life I have been looking for that feeling of belonging and to showcase my true talents. I was adopted and raised in a pretty white town. And being one of the 10 African Americans in town, always kind of looked for my place. And I feel like this would justify who I am. I believe my career would be historic with this chance to show the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would pay some bills and invest right back into my career. More connections, more tours, could be the start of a new Artist taking the industry by storm
