Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspiration is embracing what makes you unique, and sets you apart. We in the band all listen to very different influences, from Latin American bands like Krönös, to Swedish progressive metal like Opeth, to American pioneers like Tool or Primus. We aspire to give our audience the confidence to pursue their individuality without compromise.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen Festival would impact our career by giving us a platform from which to share our music with thousands of people. This would be a dream come true for us, and a great accomplishment to share with friends and family. One of our members teaches, and this opportunity would give him the chance to inspire his students, as well as a platform to launch scholarship funds from.
What would you do with $50,000?
As a band we pledge to give away half of the winnings, $25,000, in scholarship funds for any of our fans pursuing higher education if we win first place. From the remaining $25,000 we would invest $12,000 into our live show production, tour management, and album production. And the remaining $13,000 would be split 3 ways with each member receiving $4,333.
