Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My who is my mother. She always encouraged me to use my voice and not let my stage fright stop me from pursuing my dreams. For her I sing. My what is gospel, soul and r&b. They have always made me want to sing from my soul what I feel from them when I listen to them.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would greatly impact my career by aiding greatly in my exposure to a bigger audience and my experience with performing for what I want to be a full time pursuit.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would first pay my bills. Responsibility first. I would then use it to invest into my career and pursuits and that includes creating a team that I can trust and giving back to my community. You get what you give and I believe in giving back as someone who wouldn’t be where I am without my community.
