Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’d say my musical inspiration is a mix of two things: first, the emotions and hardships I’ve been through — music became my voice when I felt like I didn’t have one. Second, I’m inspired by musicians who push technical and creative boundaries, like Jason Richardson and artists from the jazz and metal worlds. They remind me that there’s always another level to reach, both skill-wise and expressively.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a huge milestone for my career. It would not only give me a global platform to share my music but also align me with a movement focused on positive change, which matches my own mission of giving a voice to people who’ve faced hardships like I have. The exposure could open doors to new collaborations, bigger opportunities, and help me inspire a wider audience while staying true to my purpose.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I’d invest directly into growing my music career. That means funding professional recordings, music videos, and touring so I can reach new audiences. I’d also upgrade my live gear — things like a reliable touring rig, better instruments, and stage equipment — so I can deliver top-level performances.
