Who or what is your musical inspiration?
A lot of my inspiration comes from everyday life: switching between languages, walking through a city that’s not quite mine, conversations that stay with me. I write songs as a way to process feelings and ideas I can’t quite explain otherwise.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a beautiful amplification of what I already try to do through my music: connect across cultures, speak honestly, and create space for emotion and reflection. It would open doors for collaboration, visibility, and most importantly, allow my work to reach people who might feel seen in the same in-between spaces I write from. It’s not just a career step, it’s a chance to take my voice to a global stage with purpose.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in recording and releasing my next project with the care and quality it deserves. So often in the career stage I am in I get to work with amazing musicians, producers and engineers who I have access to through our friendship, but who deserve to get paid so much more than our current gigs allow me to.
