Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by raw emotion, people who fight their way through darkness and still create. From Jeff Buckley to Freddie Mercury to my fans who’ve kept me going even when I wanted to quit. The pain, the struggle, the survival, and the hope for our future happiness, are what fuel my voice.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be full circle. I stepped onto a global stage 20 years ago with Rock Star: Supernova, but I’ve lived the grind ever since, fighting as an independent artist. This would bring my story and my voice back to a worldwide audience. Not as a contestant, but as the artist and producer I’ve become.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d launch my 20th anniversary world tour starting in Vegas, where it all began. The funds would cover rehearsals, a hired band, new recordings, and a music video built by fans, for fans. Every dollar fuels a comeback story 20 years in the making and gives back to the people who’ve kept this music alive with me.
