Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My biggest musical inspiration is my father, who introduced me to Hip Hop at an early age. As a rapper himself, his music was the first piece of Hip Hop I ever absorbed, sparking my passion for the art form. Beyond that, I’m deeply inspired by the culture of Hip Hop itself and the responsibility I feel to give back to my community in Pomona, CA. My music reflects love, consciousness, and storytelling, always putting the art of rap first.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be an awesome milestone in my career. It aligns perfectly with my mission to create meaningful, conscious music that uplifts communities and addresses global issues. Sharing the stage at such a renowned event would amplify my voice as an artist, allowing me to connect with a worldwide audience while also representing my hometown of Pomona.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000 I would catch up on financial responsibilities and make renovations to my recording studio to further service my community. I would probably also utilize a portion for a down payment on a house for my family.
