Q&A

Who or what is your musical inspiration?

I’ve been writing music since I was a tiny kid, so I always say it feels like it’s just in my blood. My biggest artist inspirations are Lorde, Japanese Breakfast, Suki Waterhouse, Hayley Williams, Florist, Bon Iver, and Fiona Apple (and plenty more!)

How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?

Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would change my career completely. Hailing from the Midwest and battling against the almighty algorithm, it’s been hard to find my audience. This opportunity for exposure would be the boost my career really needs.

What would you do with $50,000?

I would firstly donate a portion to the Action Agency of St. Louis. St. Louis is my hometown and I really want to give back to it, because it built me. I would then invest in making an incredible full-length album.
