Q&A


Who or what is your musical inspiration?

I’m inspired by contradiction, confession, and collision. I write from the edges: satire and sincerity, heartbreak and punchlines, dreams and disillusionment. Alanis Morissette cracked me open early on, but it’s people who keep me writing: their obsessions, power plays, awkward silences, and accidental poetry. I write to expose injustice, to decode relationships, to understand what makes someone burn or break or stay. Every song is a nervous system. Every lyric is a little rebellion


How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?

I grew up between the scrappy resilience of Northeast Ohio and Upper West Side intellect—two places that taught me to question everything and speak up when something feels wrong. Performing at Global Citizen would be more than a milestone—it would be a megaphone. Global Citizen is a stage for change-makers, for artists who use music not just to entertain but to agitate, to amplify, to connect. I make honest, unfiltered art that confronts power. Let’s make billionaires listen.


What would you do with $50,000?

A multimedia compilation project spotlighting underrepresented, underfunded, and dangerously talented artists. The Slow Burn Collective is part mixtape, part art installation, part protest. Think: a hand-curated playlist of original tracks, each paired with a visual piece made using analog, tactile, labor-of-love mediums—claymation, 16mm film, overhead projector art, textile animation, etc. Every song has a body.
