Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is everywhere; I'm inspired during my commute to work, when I go for a run or see my friends, any and every moment spent listening to artists like Lorde, Medium Build, Samia, and Maggie Rogers to name a few. Words spill out into my notes app and voice memos, ready to be transformed into songs when I revisit them. In some ways, I'm inspired by my old work too, to see how I can grow and become better with every song.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would explode my career in ways I probably can't even fathom. Getting to perform my music in front of such a large audience eager to listen means a greater path to discovery, one I'm chasing now, one I've dreamed of since I was a kid. The exposure is priceless, and I'd be making little me proud and continuing to live my dream: making as much of a safe space as I can for big feelings, to have fun with it, singing and dancing it out.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would reinvest the majority of the $50,000 back into my career as I'm in the process of making an album coming out in 2026. I would also take my parents, producer, manager, and my best friends out to a nice dinner to thank them for their continued, undying support. I also plan to donate a portion to my college Music Business program to fund their independent label. I want to give back to my community in every way I can while also setting myself up for success to keep doing so in the future.
