Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m not sure if I follow in anyone’s footsteps, but I love soul and grunge as well as ethereal music. Some artists would be The Cure, DAngelo, night tapes, solange, Sade. Ide like to think that I have a unique sound that’s personally catered and doesn’t necessarily always fit into the mold of one genre!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be an amazing opportunity for me to get my foot in the door and exposure to the music world as well as connections! I believe I’ll gain more confidence in performing and I personally LOVE critiquing and would like to know where I can improve as an artist. It would give me the chance to fill heartedly out my all into music and blossom as an individual with hope and determination.
What would you do with $50,000?
I have a couple options in mind. Either save up to buy my childhood home back, pay for my grad school or start my own jazz/soul bar and lounge in New York somewhere.
