How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Considering how many festivals there are, how commercialized the festival landscape is where most serve a purely hedonistic and capitalist function playing at a festival born for and trying to raise both funds and awareness to the issue of poverty which as a society have had both the resources and capacity to end once and for all for generations now yet not only haven't we end it but the accumulation of wealth and resources is evermore concentrated in the hands of fewer people.
What would you do with $50,000?
As a perennially broke artist who uses a laptop for his main instrument I would buy a new laptop first! Also buy new gear for my gome studio. With the rest I would pay all arrears in my NYC Co-Op apartment then put rest in fixing up my apt. Give my mother some money and buy her and my father their next trips to visit me on NY!
