Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music inspiration is real people like my mom, dad, sister, brother, and friends, critters like my dog Buddy, and nature as I take long walks in the woods. Everyone is special as they have a unique story to tell, and what is music if not telling a story. As far actual artists, I was influence by Roy Orbison, like Kris Kristopherson, Johnny Thunders, Joni Mitchell, David Bowie, Morrissey and Johnny Mar, Jules Shear, and too many to mention from the 70s and 80s.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I don’t know if I could do it. I kind of busy right now on the farm taking care of my mom. Also, I would have drive there, planes and artist musicians don’t mix; Randy Rhodes, Ricky Valens, Lenard Skynard, etc. So, there must be a good reason to motivate me to tune the truck up. Like taking care of disabled veterans or kids, supporting your local animal shelters, etc. I don't know if I would do it just for publicity, as I’m not really that type of man.
What would you do with $50,000?
Pay off the mortage on the farm, and take care of my mom
