Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My biggest inspiration comes from the artists who aren’t afraid to be vulnerable. People like Frank Ocean, Lauryn Hill, and Brandy. I grew up singing gospel in church, so that emotional depth and soul are embedded in how I create. But honestly, my life itself inspires me. Every high and low becomes a lyric, a melody, a message. Music is how I process, how I heal, and how I hope others do too.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a game-changer. It would validate all the late nights and self-doubt I pushed through just to release my very first single. It felt impossible at times, but I kept going. This performance would show others you don’t need perfect conditions to create something real you just need heart. It’s more than just a stage, it’s a chance to share my music, my message, and inspire others to believe in their own voice.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in my music with better equipment, visuals, and a professionally produced project to reach more people. I want to use a portion of the money to support causes that align with the betterment of humanity whether that’s donating to mental health initiatives, supporting underserved or youth in music. I want my journey to create real change, not just for me, but for others too.
