Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have always had an eclectic taste in music and so my songwriting pulls influence from many different styles, from jazz to house to rock to funk to indie. I grew up playing classical piano and concert and jazz trumpet. I have a soft spot for a horn line! I have been told my voice is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse or Corinne Bailey Rae.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would launch it!
What would you do with $50,000?
I have a dream to open a third space for musicians to practice, collaborate, and perform and this would give me the financial freedom to bring the idea to life!
