Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration goes from Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, Harry Belafonte, Michael Mcdonald and French Chansonniers to classical singers. I LOVE GREAT SINGERS! And also the nature, the creation is my inspiration. The pureness, the truth of it inspires me. And of course my best friend: My voice. My voice leads me, brings out my deepest feelings. The air that I breathe carries the sound out of my whole body. That's a divine inspiration.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would bring me to the next level, the level I belong to: THE INTERNATIONAL STAGE! I would get new inspiration, meeting other people! A blast for my career! And also the recognition in my own country would raise immediately. And of course it would motivate me to proof to the Global Citizen Festival that I am aware of the responsibility to unify my voice with the audience. I would be the happiest person in the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would support a concert with other great artists for love, peace & respect! Marc Marshall & Friends! Tape it and spread that concert around the world. To afford sharing the stage with more talented people would be my effort! To support Music as the universal language is much more important than ever. Artists are the gatekeepers of truth. We are civilizations radical voice!" This told me my friend Harry Belafonte. And that is what I want to live and show.
