Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My first musical inspiration was my mother who sang with me always. Then ABBA won Eurovision - I wanted to be like them. Being able to move people with my music fueled me into a career as a singer/pianist. Every audience, great song and performer is an inspiration. Today I'm also inspired by my singing clients: Stevie Wonder who sings in all he does, Brian Wilson who keeps going despite adversity, M.Shadows doomed never to sing again singing it better than ever,and others following their dreams.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a many-decades-long over-night success. I can't wait to share my music with the audience and have a chance at elevating my career to where I can have a positive impact for many people all at once, both with my music as a performer, and as an expert on vocal technique, which in general throughout the world is at such a poor state creating problems for most every singer and people who would love to sing,
What would you do with $50,000?
I believe in the power of music to unite, uplift, and bridge. If I was awarded $50,000 and there was an opportunity to partner with local organizations to create events of a music show and a vocal masterclass where everyone is welcome and included, young to old and all walks of life, that is something I believe in and would love to do.
