Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration includes Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, Patti Smith, Vashti Bunyan, the Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Chopin, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, Francisco Tarrega, Debussy, Bert Jansch, Davey Graham, bebop and cool jazz, The Kinks, and different eras of classical music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a milestone of alignment for my career. My artistry exists at the intersection of sound, story, and social change. Taking that stage would amplify my mission to create music that heals, uplifts, and mobilizes — reaching audiences who believe in artistry as a force for transformation.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I’d fund the next evolution of my artist career. I’d produce and release a concept album, expand visual storytelling through strategic marketing, and bring my Pegasus synthesizer to life. I’d also study orchestration for ballet, support the release of barkou’s EP (which I co-wrote and am the sole producer for), and write between Los Angeles and Paris to develop my career as an artist and songwriter.
