Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am inspired by all types of music rock, pop, funk, jazz, classical, ambient and electronic. My biggest influences would be Bowie, Prince, Pink Floyd, The Who, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, King Crimson, Brian Eno, Thomas Dolby, Peter Gabriel, The Police, Seal, REM and Prefab Sprout to name a few. I am also hugely influenced by great lyricists like Nick Drake, David Sylvian, Tom Waits, Bob Geldof, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. I write songs that I think no one else is writing, to be relevant.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
The exposure would help my career and heighten my profile.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest in marketing my music further than I have been able to do.
