Who or what is your musical inspiration?
As the songwriter (Ilija), my inspiration is my music Teacher back in Macedonia. He practically raised me, spending sleepless nights practicing mandolin with him for the school classical orchestra. His unorthodox approach to music, dedication, perfectionism, and drive, inspired me and built those traits into me as well. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give us an opportunity to share our music and message with the world on a bigger scale. From our understanding music isn’t always there to make you feel better, but instead to sit there with you at your lowest and say “You know what, I’ve been there too and I feel you”. That feeling of being understood is what we get from our favorite artists, and seeing them perform these moments live is an out of body experience that we want to offer to the world through our mu
What would you do with $50,000?
We would invest it back into music. There is always more work to be done, more albums to be made, more messages to be shared. We would invest the biggest portion of it into album production/marketing/rollout, then smaller portions into equipment, touring van, vinyl pressings etc.
