Who or what is your musical inspiration?
A lot of people inspired me in Rock, in Pop, in Gospel, and in Hip Hop. I love defying the odds and improvising the sound. I love the power of words and expression. I love the power of performances. I love the power of influences. I love the protest music. Many elements of these have inspired my own and made think hard about what I do in music. I have studied music my whole life and I would love to continue expressing myself through music and showing the world what I got and why I should belong.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It will help me on my pathway to becoming a legend. It will be a major turning point in my career. It will show my skills and artistry. It will allow the public to examine my music and to see whether it is worthy to be heard. It will prove that I am what I say I am. And that I can create music that can stand the test of time. It will show my mastery and techniques. It will help push my music forward and recognized the hardwork that I put into it. It will be a great honor and privilege.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would continue my music career. I would continue writing songs and being involved with music. I would donate to music causes. And help continue good music. I will invest in music initiatives to help create good musicians and better musicians. I would spend it on bills and helping my family. I would love to take a vacation with my new wife.
