Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have so many, but the biggest one is just life. My music is based on my experiences and the journey I’ve been on to this point. Musically, I draw a lot of inspiration from Kendrick and J.Cole when it comes to telling my story. Lately, I’ve been on a Detroit type beat kick. I think those are dope because I can get some bars off, but the beat appeals to casual listeners.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think it could give me the shot I need to turn music into my full time career. I love music and I’m a student of the game so I’m constantly growing and evolving. With the right team around me, I think I can take the industry by storm.
What would you do with $50,000?
Reinvest it into my music mainly. I’d take a big portion to get a major feature and shoot a video for it. Gotta seize the moment.
