Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I think ultimately what inspires me the most is making people feel something beyond the normal senses: being heard, understood, known, or revived in some way or another. Whether that’s through melody or lyrics, I aim to pull people into a space where they forget everything but the moment, the now. Some of my biggest inspirations range from Post Malone to Bon Iver. How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would hopefully open the door I’ve needed to get my sound to the people in the most raw way possible; right in front of them. My dream is to have a career as an artist, and performing for such an audience as well as other talents could push me exactly where I need to be. I’d be fulfilling my dream.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d more than likely use it as a firm foundation to fund my music. Using it to take my music to the next step with the right producers, engineers, writers, etc. Ultimately I want to play the long game, and $50k would certainly help me get to a place where I can maximize the potential of my music while aiming to get it into the right hands to perfect it. For a lack of better words, I’d use it to support my dream of making amazing music to inspire the world.
