Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am definitely inspired by people like Pharoah Sanders, Charlie Parker, Gil-Scott Heron, but there’s also some other artists Slighly-Stoopid, Jack Johnson, Dilla, MF Doom, Khruangbin
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be oppurtunity to be received with gratitude, not everyday am I going to prospect playing infront of so many people, it’s normally a bar, restaurant, or family gathering. It would be not only a learning experience but another step in the right direction towards being the person I want to be/become.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d probably save some for my daughter, donate some to my friend who had a stroke, put some aside for my family’s goals, most likely help us to be able to afford a down payment on a home. So many things. Life changing to a certain point, where it could help set my family up in the longterm to accomplish goals that have been held due to a 9-5.
