Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I started writing songs when I first discovered Michelle branch when I was 8 years old- and the female singer/songwriters across all genres continue to inspire me! I love raw, honest music that makes you feel & hopefully cry. Music is cathartic and healing for me & I always write from my heart to the listener.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be life changing. I have been pursuing this dream all of my life, and have been constantly trying to find ways of gaining more exposure… this would be the perfect way to do that! I leave everything on the stage & I would do just that if I had the chance to play.
What would you do with $50,000?
MUSIC! I have been working odd jobs, trying to make ends meet while saving up to record and release more songs, which has felt impossible at times. This money would allow me the financial stability to finally get the music I have been sitting on out & heard! It would allow me to plan a tour & take more writing trips to Nashville. This money would make my dream come to fruition in a not as distant future, which is all I can pray for!
