Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from artists like Chris Cornell and Layne Staley—raw, emotional storytellers who weren’t afraid to bleed in their music. I bring that same honesty, drawing from my 17+ years of military service. Combat, loss, brotherhood—those experiences shaped me, and music helps me process it all. I write to honor the fallen, to speak the unspeakable, and to find peace in the noise. This is more than music—it’s my mission.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a life-changing platform to amplify my voice beyond the military community. As a Soldier and songwriter, it’s my mission to turn real stories of war, loss, and hope into songs that connect and heal. This stage would help me reach people worldwide and show that even those shaped by conflict can lead with compassion and creativity.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d use the $50,000 to professionally record and promote a full-length album that tells the stories of soldiers, survivors, and those we’ve lost—raw and real. I’d invest in touring, gear, and marketing to grow my audience and bring these songs to communities that need them. This isn’t just about music—it’s about healing, connection, and turning my mission as a Soldier into a movement of hope and strength.
