Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My first and main musical inspiration was my Grandfather. He could heal with it. Plus, he was a human rights worker and served in World War II. It is such an honour to have him as a role model. ...and of course the Cocteau Twins, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Big Wreck, Billie Holiday, Duran Duran, Michael Jackson and SO many more.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be extremely beneficial, as I also founded/organized a Peace Concert for several years and it would help me get that back, and bigger this time, which means that I/we could help even more people around the world.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would record and also use it to re-organize my Peace Concert. Plus, I would be able to spend more on promotion, which in turn make everything bigger and more effective (i.e: feeding more homeless, more beds, more awareness, more work with local First Nations and Women’s shelters, etc.) ...and giving back to those who are so generous with me.
