Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My dad, who was a killer sax and hammond player. Also, the obvious choices of Prince and MJ, both legends.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Majorly - I would really value a high profile event with more eyeballs on it and ESPECIALLY to be part of such an important event designed to raise awareness for GC's campaigns to end poverty, to save the planet, and achieve equity!
What would you do with $50,000?
That would be a gigantic help with finishing my album and starting the new one. Each track I've been doing has all real musicians, and they are all top notch. For example, my guitarist on a few tracks plays with Christina Aguilera, my drummer plays with Blood, Sweat & Tears. My horn section has played with Lady Gaga, Celine Dion and many other huge acts. This kind of talent does not come cheap, and neither does the mixing and mastering engineer. I'm averaging $5K per song at the moment.
