Who or what is your musical inspiration?
The music that has really inspired me is pop punk and Emo. Bands like New FoundGlory,YellowCard,The Used,Blink182 and Saves The Day. My teacher Mr Tim lets me play with his band and he lets me play my own songs at his shows. He gave me my first start to play shows. He actually let me open for his band at a bar and that really inspired me to keep going. That night when I opened it was such amazing feeling and opportunity. It felt like I was playing for 1000 people.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
When I was diagnosed at the age of 5 with autism. All I ever wanted was to be a music artist since then and just wanting to make a difference.It would impact my career by inspiring people on the spectrum that anything is possible with hard work, dedication and commitment. Deep down I know that I can make a difference.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would donate some of the money to Autism Society and National Autism Association. I know that money can help many of these organizations so they can help other people and their families. I would also give some of the money to my dad because he has done so much for me for the past 22 years of my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. He also helped to inspire me to do what I love. That’s what I would do with the money.
