Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspiration is definitely the ups and downs, triumphs and tragedies, that every person goes through. When a song starts to come together, it's a feeling that goes unmatched by anything in life. We've had tragedy strike us down with the loss of one of our founding members, to only have us come out the other end with a third album that we feel pays tribute to him and is some of our best and most ambitious work to date.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be the biggest stage we've ever played on and it would be a once in a lifetime experience that could catapult us to where we feel we should be. We've been a band for 15 years and have paid our dues.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would invest the money into our band and brand. It would help us get the marketing and social media presence that we so desperately need to cut through the noise of the thousands of other bands that are out there.
