Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Where do I begin? Okay my 1st inspiration was definitely Snoop Dogg and DPG "What's My Name" I'll never forget the song or the music video I literally watched it non stop. I get inspiration from Billy Ocean, Michael Huthence, Edgar Allen Poe, Nina Simone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jim Morrison, Bono, Joy Division, Dr.Dre, Tupac, David Ruffin. I pretty much find inspiration in all creativity.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would most certainly give me the opportunity to Address social issues that not only affect me, but communities and people from all walks of life. I myself right now deal with homelessness and sleeping on the streets. The less fortunate are the strongest, wisest, and most courageous people without a doubt, but we all deserve opportunities and not to be treated like trespassers everywhere we go. Women and people with disabilities shouldn't have to lay on concrete struggling to find comfort.
What would you do with $50,000?
50,000 I would support the Global Citizen non profit organization. Take my daughters to the zoo. Buy clothes that I need not desire. I would purchase instruments such as a Rickenbacker Bass, Roland Juno keyboard, Mpc, Drums, and an electric guitar of some sort. Just Create and keep pushing the messages that add value to the masses
