Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I love music of the 40’ s thru the 90’s and I am bringing back that old school vibe in many of my songs! My mother is my musical inspiration, she played all genres by ear and loved horns and jazzy melodies! She died in 2020, and sent me songs from heaven for album 5, my upcoming swing songs! They are really terrific and I take no credit for “writing” them! I hear songs in my mind!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me a wider audience to share my fun songs with, and it would be great performance opportunity and experience!
What would you do with $50,000?
I would put a seven peice band together and perform my swings songs to be released! I plan to keep writing and recording, and if I “made it”, I would endeavor to help others have the opportunity to experience the healing power of creating and sharing their music! Sharing the gift of music can improve and save lives!
