Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I take a lot of inspiration emotionally from artists such as Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. I may have a different sound than them, however, I strive to be as vulnerable within my art as they are. Sonically, I explore many genres within the alternative realm to convey different emotions and stories. Some songs may call for a more grunge/rock sound while others need a lighter pop-like soundscape.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would completely change my career. As a small artist, this opportunity would put me on a whole new playing field. Sharing my art and my experience with so many people would give me the chance to find my audience and allow me to continue pursuing this dream I have.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would put the money back into my career to help me grow my artistry. Spending it on lessons to master my voice and other instruments along with plugins for my DAW will improve my ability to convey my emotions and thoughts into music. I will also spend a portion on promotion to reach more ears and grow my fanbase.
