I would make music even if nobody ever heard it.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I'd say I'm most inspired by the parts of our lives that we don't talk about enough. The difficult feelings and thoughts that we often don't share. I like writing about that stuff, and I try to convey those ideas with a nostalgic sound. Or at least a sound that feels nostalgic to me. Otherwise I’d say the artists I’m inspired by most are Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, The Beatles, and a lot of classical music.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Well my career is just starting. So I think it would be a really amazing opportunity for a strong first big live preformance. A lot of ears would hear me and hopefully enjoy what I do.
What would you do with $50,000?
Most of it would go to music. Equipment, studio time, a tour vehicle, etc etc. A lot of it would be saved for future music expenses as well. Otherwise I would give some to my family.
