Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My music isn't inspired by a single influence or just a few artists. Rather, it's the beauty of sound itself that inspires me to write and sing. Music is a powerful and beautiful medium to express myself and connect with others on a deeper level. Though I am inspired by many artists, the most influential aspects to me are life's experiences, emotions, and those raw, authentic moments that shape my music and inspire me to keep creating!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
At the Global Citizen Festival, I will receive the chance to be seen and heard, which will allow me to connect with a huge audience, provide exposure, gain credibility and recognition, and also help boost my online/offline presence as an artist. Also, this experience will be an excellent networking opportunity as I will get to connect with other music industry professionals which could open doors for more collaborations, projects, and recording opportunities.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I win $50,000, I would invest a portion of it into furthering my music career. This includes funding more professionally produced music, more marketing efforts to reach listeners, and receiving more music education. The other bit I would give to my parents as a thank-you. They do everything and more for me, and always believe in whatever I do, and giving back to them would mean the world to me.
