Q&A

Who or what is your musical inspiration?

My grandfather is a big one. He wrote, arranged and produced in the 1920s-50s for Decca and Southern and led a band that toured the Northeast. He was my first piano and composition teacher.

How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?

I have been in the independent music business for decades. Performing in this festival would launch me further in the business as a songwriter and producer as well as a performer, by putting me in front of a huge audience looking for new sounds.

What would you do with $50,000?

Invest in my label, allowing me to further develop and promote my music and other acts on my roster.
