Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up listening to everything I won’t lie. I was honestly inspired by a lot of people. I really started making music because of X. My vocals really started to come in after listening to people like Travis Scott and Don Toliver. My beat selection and my delivery? Africa man. People like Asake and Rema got me flowing for real.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be my first festival that’s a start. My first concert too. I never performed before and even when I do, I wouldn’t say it would be an impact just for my career but also for my people back home.
What would you do with $50,000?
First I would give some to my dad to help him out with his business. Then I’ll just use the rest between me and my wife. She wants to start her own business and I want to expand musically too. It really depends where life takes us but I know for sure I will not use it all at once.
