I was born to make music that reminds people to believe in themselves when they’ve forgotten how to.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My producer David J Holman was my musical inspiration. He was 76, he passed away 2 weeks ago. He was the only person that believed in me as an artist, we met when I was 18 years old, struggling and working 3 jobs to keep a roof over my head. He never asked for anything, but we recorded all of my music together - He was the only person I ever recorded with and felt like he could read my mind. We loved listening to Regina Spektor, The Beatles, Etta James and Nirvana together.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This would change my life, my family's and Davids. I have always dreamt of performing in front of more than 50 people (Or as many people as Madam Siam or Harvard and Stone can fit, lol). This opportunity would allow more people to hear my music and what I have to say than anything I have ever experienced... I have worked the majority of my life aspiring to be a musician and I have played shows all over LA, but this would be the biggest, life-changing, dream come true.
What would you do with $50,000?
David and I always wanted to make a music video to one of the songs we made together called "Losing Faith". We never got the chance to make it before his passing, so I would want to do something with his family to honor him all the help they have given me over the years.
