Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My father is my greatest musical inspiration. As a member of Ndilimani, a political band active during Namibia’s struggle for independence, he used music as a powerful tool for resistance and unity. His contributions helped inspire peace and played a vital role in the liberation of the Namibian nation.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This opportunity would greatly impact my career and shine a light on Namibia, a country underrepresented in the Afrobeats industry. It would inspire fellow musicians and creatives who have devoted their lives to the arts, proving that even dreams born in the desert can come true.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would establish a music academy in Rundu, Namibia, to fulfill my father’s dream and give back to the community. The rest would support my music career, grow my business, and help provide for my family.
