Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My late uncle was a renowned artist in Haiti and the founder of the band Helping Hands. He played a pivotal role in shaping the early music careers of those around him, including Wyclef Jean, who began his musical journey alongside my uncle. After my uncle’s passing, he left behind not only a grieving family—my aunts, uncles, and father—but also a musical legacy. Wyclef went on to carry that legacy forward, eventually becoming part of what the world now knows as The Fugees
