Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations are female legends like Ann Wilson, Pat Benatar, and Kelly Clarkson! I love a strong, powerhouse vocal! Their way of bringing authenticity to the stage and through their music is like no other and I strive to bring that type of music to the industry. Kelly’s way of gliding through any genre and making them her own inspire me to keep myself open as an artist. Influences from the 80’s rock and pop legends mentioned above catapult my songwriting and my style
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I would love the opportunity to bring the crowd through a Time Machine in our modern times! All ages would appreciate the 70s/80s rock influence similar to how Stevie Nicks is still rocking stadiums to this day for all ages. There’s something to be said about heartfelt lyrics and rocking instrumentals that our industry thrives off of. I’d love to be a part of this movement in continuing the legacy ladies before me have built for all of us.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use some to invest in my next album and creating process but, also donate some toward charities that focus on developing our youth through introducing them to their passion of music in order to help bring our next generation to the next level!
