Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I grew up on classical piano and Chinese oldies my mom sang around the house. Then my elementary school gym teacher showed me Lady Gaga and The Black Eyed Peas, and my brain cracked open. I’m very inspired by concept artists who bleed persona into sound—i.e. Gaga, Lana, Yeat (he is under-credited for this!). Sonically, I live between Euro pop, Internet rap, bloghouse, and art freaks. Think FKA Twigs x Doja Cat x Playboi Carti, contained within a deranged immigrant with a god complex.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’m an immigrant with no industry ties—just raw vision, unparalleled work ethic, and a surreal and bold stage presence. Performing at Global Citizen would supercharge my visibility and let me do what I do best: turn heads and build a cult. I don’t just want to entertain; I want to provoke, disrupt, and leave people changed. Put me in front of a crowd, and I’ll move the earth.
What would you do with $50,000?
A whole lot. I’ve been DIY’ing everything—mixing my own records, editing my own videos, and building out my vision into something undeniable. But it’s time to scale. With $50,000, I want to hire talented creatives who can elevate my craft—mix engineers, producers, touring musicians, dancers, choreographers, production designers. Collaboration is the key to making art that pushes boundaries. I’m ready to create something unforgettable.
