Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is my dad. We used to listen to everything—from Spanish music to Fela Kuti. Though he was a politician, his playlists were colorful and beautiful. We especially loved the Rolling Stone cover of Fela, which still hangs in our home. I'm also inspired by growth—pushing boundaries, reaching new levels, and experiencing life-changing opportunities like this one.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would put me on a pedestal to showcase my talent. I've thought of giving up, but I believe this God-given gift is meant to be shared. This opportunity would connect me with musicians and industry leaders, helping me grow. I love performing and giving people a show—doing it on a bigger stage would be life-changing.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would definitely invest in a marketing team and use the money to maintain control of my art, which is most important to me. Owning my message and having the right tools would open doors—from shows and shoots to networking opportunities. This would allow me to grow independently and expand my reach in powerful ways.
