Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Musically, I’m inspired by Billie Eilish’s breathy tones and truth telling nature, Finneas’s songwriting, Sabrina Carpenter’s strong branding and Lizzy Mcalpines’s ability to be unique, and lastly, Stevie Nicks’ style. I love what all of them have brought to the global stage and would love to replicate a piece of that.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As an indie artist, sharing my message on a world stage would amplify everything I stand for - healing, empowerment, and global connection which is what my EP coming out speaks of. It’s more than a show; it’s a moment to inspire change and reach listeners I’d never access otherwise. Being part of a lineup driven by purpose would solidify my place in the industry and show that my music which blends global genres and Nordic chants, and my voice, matter on a global scale.
What would you do with $50,000?
It would allow me to take my career to the next level, putting on shows, and helping other indie artists perform at these shows so together we all can strive for our dreams. It’d allow me to properly campaign my music and take a break from my side hustles to give it all back into this beautiful gift I was given.
