Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m inspired by artists who fuse emotion with empowerment—like Beyoncé, Lauryn Hill, and Rihanna. Their music, energy, and presence shaped how I tell my story through sound, style, and unapologetic truth. I also pull inspiration from my Caribbean roots, personal pain, and global culture.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen would elevate my voice on a world stage, aligning my music with impact and purpose. It would expand my reach, solidify my brand, and connect me with a global audience hungry for powerful, soul-stirring anthems that inspire action and transformation.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d invest in producing and marketing my debut project, fund visually stunning music videos, and build out my brand, NovaSlayVibes, into a powerhouse label for indie artists. This funding would help me amplify my voice, launch a tour, and pour back into my creative community.
