Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Novus Cantus is influenced by a wide array of genres and bands of the past and present, including The Gypsy Kings, Metallica, Jethro Tull, Nirvana, and Rusted Root. We love timeless, passionate sounds that encompass world influences.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Global Citizen Festival would be a way for us to connect with other artists and audiences in a massive way. It would be our largest festival performance by far, and allow us to focus solely on our music. We are one of many bands that live for composing and performing, but are limited by shrinking opportunities for new sounds.
What would you do with $50,000?
$50,000 would be put toward touring throughout the Northeast and getting our music out to the world!
