Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspiration derives from all aspects of art and expression. We pull ideas surroundings different genres and blend them into the beauty portrayed through our work. Love, loss, compassion, frustration, depression, anxiety, and many other emotions are the fuel behind the lyrical construct of Oceanflower.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
In ways unimaginable. This will drive us to use our art to change the world one lonely soul at a time. It would give a voice to those hurting and lost and show a glimmer of hope. It will breed connection between all walks of life as our goal is to bring people together, not push them apart.
What would you do with $50,000?
Our $50,000 would allow us to remove some personal debts that hold us back from doing what we love the most - create and perform our music. This would provide a small sense of stability for us to tour. We seek a life where music and connection spreads love to all and this could be what allows us to hit the ground running.
