Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Well, I get my musical inspiration from Alton Ellis/ John Holt/ Bob Marley/ Beenie Man. Beenie Man, is my biggest influencer I try my best to do a good performance like him anywhere I go to perform. Dress up like him too, his suit are so expensive but I try my best. And they are a lot more international Artists that I look up too. Michael Jackson/ John Legend/ Sisqo / Boyz to man OMG!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
OMG!!! That would be a Big thing for me. It would take my Career to the next level. On an international level too. The reason why I said to myself let me inter this competition is because for over the years I have been struggling with my musical career, I know it takes a lot of money that I don’t have but I really one to impact the world to let them see what OKANO can do. And also I want to make my Mother and my Wife my children proud because they are with me from day one.
What would you do with $50,000?
Well the fist thing I would do if pay down on a house for me and my family that’s is our biggest challenging now is to get a house. Because you know $50,000 in America is nothing at this time but it’s a great start.
