Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am a Swiftie and a monster of Lady Gaga. Just like Taylor Swift, I wrote my own songs. I've turned my feelings, emotions and ideas into an art form and want to touch millions of people's hearts. Because of my accent, I wasn't confident enough to sing in English before. But all of these international famous artists around the world inspire me to be who I am. I want to show the world what a Burmese openly gay artist is capable of doing and becoming a LGBTQ+ icon to inspire new generations.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It will definitely impact not only my career but also all of the LGBTQ artists from Asia. I will be the first ever artist from Myanmar in history if I ever get to perform at Global Citizen Festival. That will be an honor and proud moment for 60 million people from my country, Myanmar. I want to make my country proud. Also, that amazing opportunity will open up a new door to elevate my career and also to speak out about my country on the Global Stage. Myanmar needs global help and support.
What would you do with $50,000?
I will donate partially to Myanmar Earthquake relief funds. I will use it to record my 2nd self-written album, "Burmese Unokkarn," and produce music videos. I wish I had the record label because money plays an essential role in reaching my goals. I've finished 18 songs in music production but haven't recorded everything yet because I don't have enough resources. My dreams are on pause now.
