Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Some of my biggest musical inspirations are artists/bands like Blondshell, Mitski, Vanessa Carlton, and Samia. I’m inspired by not only my own personal experiences but also different psychological topics and by observing human behaviors and patterns. I went to college for Psychology and find that those themes are present a lot in my songwriting.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career in a number of ways. It would provide me the opportunity to share my music with a wider audience which could lead to new festival and other performance opportunities that I wouldn’t have otherwise. It would be an opportunity to collaborate with other artists and grow my own fanbase while also making a positive impact through the greater mission of the festival.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use the $50,000 to further invest in my music career. This would include covering costs for new equipment, recording studio costs, music promotion, traveling costs associated with performances, new music merch, etc. This would allow me access to additional resources to help grow my career while giving me the freedom to focus on songwriting and my musical identity.
